Like every year, Armofer brings its contribution to the table at the Stati Generali delle Demolizioni, the 15th Decommissioning Conference at the Rimini Ecomondo Fair organised by DEA Edizioni and Recover Magazine.
The speakers for Armofer were architects Federica Delucchi and Stefano Chiavalon, with a contribution on Industrial Relocation: an interesting new scenario for the world of decommissioning, under the banner of all-round sustainability. Decommissioning, which involves the dismantling and re-commissioning of decommissioned industrial plants in Italy, offers a scenario on the market with interesting possibilities and synergies in the name of environmental sustainability and the reduction of energy-intensive activities. Two cases in comparison: the decommissioning of the Cremona and Mantua refineries.
