Managing a complex construction site

Demolitions for the restyling of the historic Hotel Gallia in front of Milan's central railway station required prior detailed executive design of each individual intervention: internal stripout; partial and controlled demolition; top-dpwn demolition of newer buildings; preservation of valuable historical parts; reclamation of obsolete installations. An extremely complex construction site, set in a delicate and highly trafficked urban context, which saw technical difficulties in addition to logistical, space management and time constraints by works that required active work in parallel. Armofer brings the newest and best performing machines to the site, including the Liebherr 974 in UHD set-upbut also others cutting-edge technologies, this time 'mini' like the small remote-controlled robots that operate anywhere, with great flexibility and power and to zero emissions, implanted on the eight floors of the historic building for the point demolitions. The site approach, strongly oriented towards personnel safety and theinjury-free operation wanted by the foreign client, required sophisticated means and a team of highly qualified technicians. Technical site management: Emilio Cinerari.
